As someone who works as a bank teller, I can tell you right now that the person who handled his transaction did it wrong. So long as the information you get that he gives you (id, bank card, ect) is the same as its profile, it doesn't matter how they ask for the money.

@d alex77 same. I used to walk home from my girl's house when I was 17 - 18 years old. Had cops drive by and turn around MANY times just to come ask what I'm doing and try to get ID from me. I guess if I was black, I'd assume that was the reason why, but I'm not.

My daughter got into a fight at Kroger. The white girl hit her in the face with some keys. All the white people started jumping in. So I jumped in. The cops was called on us saying we had a gun. They came with guns on us. Three or 4 cops threw me on the car. What an embarrassment.
