China has more than 500 automotive brands and more than 100 car brands and these numbers are abused as most top tear car manufacturing countries only have 6 to 7 homegrown automakers working. hence, in the video, we have tried to find out exactly why China has so many auto brands!

China is pushing their Evs because they own more than 80% of lithium mining,  extraction,  processing. So indirectly they are supporting their own industry as they are saving from crude oil imports. Making an ICE vehicle is 10 times difficult than making an Ev because producing combustion engine is way more difficult to produce than some motor and batteries. That's why there are very less good combustion engine Chinese cars .

Actually Chinese cars are getting better nowadays. I happen to drive changan alsvin in Oman and i feel it's a good car for the money to drive around and also gives a respectable fuel efficiency better than Koreans. They give entire creature comforts with an affordable price. Moreover they have good ride comfort and handling too.. but I'm not sure about the availability or cost of the parts

Establishing brand and releasing a product is so easy. Giving service spares for the entire life of car at every corner of country and reliability on brand is toughest task. Many brands are still struggling at this level and some have ended their stories in india

BYD actually wanted to setup a factory in India but government rejected it.  It would single handedly take over the EV market from TATA and Mahindra. Our people being more "price" centric rather than nationalistic would buy these cars rather than Indian cars. It wouldnt take much long for BYD to completely dominate the EV space.

Indians also should prefer Indian brands to support them. While Indian car brands need to compete at global level in quality and technologically advance cars. And the Govt need to make policies with clear vision to increase competency.

my neighbor has a porsche cayenne and a BYD seal(probably or some other EV model) and dude daily drives his BYD and loves it and this is the 1st time in my lifetime i have seen a byd car.

It will be best if tata or mahindra accquir lava and intregate it with their car company

Fact is if few china car brands enter india with there electric cars. Tata and mahindra could not face them because like tata nexon ev cost like 15-20 lakh and we all know  china can make a ev cae with better looks and range at same cost and it can distroy the competition.
