A Russian Su-27 fighter plane collided with a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Black Sea on Tuesday, a U.S. defense official told Fox News. The jet in question was one of two Su-27's flying in tandem when the collision occurred in international airspace over international waters. The drone's propeller was damaged, forcing the unmanned aerial vehicle to ditch in the Black Sea, west of Crimea, the U.S. defense official told Fox News. The State Department is summoning Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov to express its "strong objections" to the intercept, spokesman Ned Price confirmed to reporters.

These press briefings are rather frustrating as he stands there telling us very little.  The first question is - are we going to war over this? Our rhetoric is just to verbally antagonize Russia, but what is Russian thinking? Are they preparing for WWIII?   The next question I have is if a civilian craft approached the downed drone is it in danger from the drone's on board ordnance, whatever that device(s) may be? It was clear to me that from his facial expressions when asked about the drone being armed that it was, even though he refused to answer that important question. We are indeed getting closer to WWIII, and it seems little can be done to get our government to work on diplomacy and de-escalation. I feel like I've living in the novel 1984.

At this point perhaps the U.S. should have been minding their own borders instead initially now that we are in deep unfortunately the U.S. Military needs to keep on our toes and try to avoid any further interference as we are monetarily getting drained if it is past that point then we need to keep on our toes for defense
