Looking forward to test driving Atto 3 for myself, after P2 and M3. Lets see if it drives as well as it looks. That interior looks much better in flesh and much nicer than M3, to my eyes. Wish it had future proofing faster charging capability though. For sure, stay clear of Kona/leaf at those stupid prices. Hey, Tesla charges $3k for RED on M3 and they actually look heaps better i that red, than boring white, which they all seem to be, when sighted on the road.

The quirky interior of the Atto 3 was one reason I chose to buy it. Also I cannot understand anyone actually choosing a grey, silver or charcoal colour for a car. Those colours were forced onto the motorists by legacy auto makers. However now there seems to be a swing back to red, blue, green and even two tone combinations. Hooray! My last 4 cars were blue, green, champagne and red.

Ordered a standard range version on day one. The range is more than enough for my requirements as I have other cars if necessary. Last week the WA gov announced a $3500 rebate for all battery electric cars for the first 10,000. I confirmed it with Dept Transport. WA isn't in the stone age it is now leading the way with incentives and a rapidly expanding charger network.

Ordered a white long range for my partner. It suits her perfectly as she has a medical condition, so it has certain features that are helpful to her like the electric seats, self closing tailgate, lane keep assist, 360 view camera, etc...perfect for her not having dramas of getting in and out to fill up at servo...also she doesn't have to pay gst on it due to having a disability and added WA incentive bonus. Can't wait till July.

I was at BYD Sydney yesterday. The interior looks much better than the video/photos. Once you sat in the car yes it's "different" but overall interesting.

BYD Atto3 is a GREAT car. Chinese cars are 8% (that's right?) of australian market now, and that's only with two choice : MG or Haval... And to be missing BYD yet...!!!

Interior does look very unique not the taste I use to like, but not one I'm too repulsive of. The blade battery is one that's at least give some comfort that it is (perhaps / likely) safer then Li ion battery

Ordered the day QLD Government announced their rebate. Asked over the weekend the impact if I changed my White, extended order to Red, extended. Outcome is - delivery date is changed to October. So we stuck with White and have a July delivery still.And for $3k more and 10KWh bigger battery, not sure why anyone would order the Standard. I actually wish they could have made a 75KWh battery with a 500-550km range - that would sell like hot cakes.

Love the BYD ATTO 3, such a shame we don’t have the charging network in Australia, and it’s going to get worse when another 10,000 EVs hit the road in the next 12 months. I did order a BYD Atto 3, but due to my usage and the poor charging network where I live, I canceled, BYD put the $1000 straight back in my bank account. I think it’s an exception product and the company was at all times excellent to deal with. I will now go down the path of hybrid, hopefully in the next 5 years Australia will have the charging network the country deserves.
