For these prices, it is better to get Rad power bikes or other US brand ebikes, which is cheaper, better build quality and better features and specs. I think US government purposely made tariff on China ebikes expensive, so US citizens would end up buying US ebikes.

I’m 72 yo, had cervical surgery, with some balance issues and was concerned that I might not be able to ride an ebike. I did my research and purchased a radrunner plus. I chose this brand because if I couldn’t ride it , it was the only brand that had two week , no questions asked, as long as it was in original condition. I love it, no buyer’s remorse and I ride 5 days a week or more weather permitting. This bike is solid, seems as strong as a Honda trail bike I had as a teenager. However, if I was buying again, I would buy the rad rover mini step thru. Just as well built, weighs less, folds up( you can fit two in the back of most suvs) .

Bikes are dangerous in the big cities like where I live.... just too much traffic too many cars speeding to ride them though town safety...Now in smaller less populated towns I can totally see this working quite well...
